The second-largest Norway’s Halden Prison opened on April 6. In case you are planning to commit a crime, better do it in Norway. This country has spent $252 million to build a posh prison for 252 inmates. Every cell is arranged in units of 10 to 12 and just looks gorgeous. It reminds of a college dorm except this prison is even better. Every cell has a private bathroom, modern furniture and a flat-screen TV. By the way, there are no bars on the windows so you get a nice view. There is a gym, football field, a library and, believe it or not, a sound studio in Halden Prison. This is ridiculous, but Halden spent $1 million on graffiti all around the grounds! This prison is more luxurious than many apartments in Europe.
